This is very similar to a technique I was shown for helping a heavy person stand from a sitting position that was unable to stand up themselves. It was to reach behind them and grab their pant belt to help them rise up on their legs. This uses the same type of leverage that is very successful. The belt appears to be made of a nice heavy material. Good to have in your home.

I’m so impressed with this patient lift sling! It’s super sturdy and well-made, giving me confidence when transferring my loved one. The color adjustable straps are a game-changer – they make it easy to customize for comfort and safety. The material is also really easy to clean, which is a must for us.
The 72-inch length is perfect for our needs. Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable transfer sling!

Works well for getting someone up and out of bed without a lot of strain!

Got this as my wife occasionally has problems with her knees and getting out of the bath. Had been using a turkish towel under the armpits but this is better and more dignified.
Having the multiple grip points is a nice plus, but really once you find the one that works for your person, you aren’t likely to use any others. This feature is more for the medical professional working in a facility who will have a wide range of body types and weights to consider.
The back is lightly padded, and the whole thing should be easy to clean with normal detergent, though I would hang dry rather than dryer.
The only thing I’m not as fond of is the buckled safety strap. The amount of strap is less than I need, and there isn’t an easy way to adjust/add more. I will have to find a set of the snap buckles and some nylon webbing strap to make an extender. So be aware if your person is several extras large that part may not fit for you.
Otherwise, can recommend.

This is a great belt for helping elder people move from one area to another. I wanted a belt like this because my dad is a bit heavy and has fallen a couple of times. We manage to work together with a chair to get him back up but a belt like this will be very helpful. It is very well made and sturdy. I recommend this product.

The length of the strap area that buckles around the person is about 55-56″ so make sure this is long enough to go around your intended “patient.” It works for us but if someone was heavier it might not fit around them (HOWEVER it does have a weight limit of 300lbs anyway so I guess if it doesn’t go around them it isn’t gonna hold them anyway.).
The padded part is a little less than 10″ so it is a good width and doesn’t cut into the person. There are multiple layers of handles so you can pick what distance works best for you to use. It seems to be very well made and thought out.

Item: Transfer Sling for Patient Lift
Much easier to lift my Grandma up in bed with this. At first it was sliding up her back a bit, so I had to put it more in the middle of her back. It’s comfortable, doesn’t dig into the skin anywhere. Multiple straps helps for curtain situations/easier leverage. I like the addition of the belt for added safety, even though it has no use in my scenario.
Overall it helps where I need it and where my Grandma needs it so I no longer have to pull her arms to sit her up in bed which is starting to get harder and harder on her and me.

Love the color coded straps, helps know which to hold on both sides quickly. Strap around middle allows to be placed on person and clasped, so you are able to assist quickly without having to put on each time.
Has helped with getting them to a sitting position, rolling from back to side, as well as aiding in standing

Tested with a 250 lb surrogate weight and it performed perfectly fine. No stitches for aid or anything that would have indicated a looming failure.
Granted, most individuals are unlikely to be lifting the full weight capacity of this on a regular basis but if and when that time arises it seems to be very well made with strong stitching and durable material. For the general use case of assisting in orienting or reorienting positioning or posture of an individual, this is beyond strong enough.
Multiple handles are extremely convenient, making a variety of positions and difficult maneuvers far easier. The length of the handles also makes single-handed maneuverability a much easier to ask if necessary.
The backing of the strap is a low friction plastic like material which allows for easier sliding underneath a patient while still providing a uniform and gently padded surface on the side that would potentially be contacting skin.
Beyond that I’m not sure what else is really notable… With something like this, my main concerns are strength and usability and this product checks both boxes.

As a healthcare worker I know how important it is to maintain good ergonomics and body posture while also moving patients safely. This is a great item that makes it possible to prioritize both.
