I am amazed at how much weight this sling can take (340-600 lbs). This makes it much easier for a caregiver to move the person they are caring for to a toliet. Definitely would take a stronger caregiver for this sling. The sling is well built and designed.

This is perfect for assisting with toilet usage and a Hoyer lift. The open style sling makes it very easy to maneuver the patient from the bed onto the toilet and then back again. I thought it was going to be difficult to use because of the open nature of it, but it was not hard at all. Very good quality manufacturing. I would absolutely recommend this, as it’s cheaper than the one that the home healthcare provider had quoted us.

This sling fits my mom just right. She is a small size and the bands are sturdy . They attach onto the hoyer lift and it even comes with instructions.

We are new to having to use this kind of aid and a lift, but it is well constructed and thoughtfully designed.
I do recommend consulting with your doctor or therapist on figuring out the appropriate size. I wish we had gone down 1 size.

I got this to use with my elderly mother who is unable to get off her hospital bed onto her bedside commode. I use it with her manual Hoyer Lift and the straps allow me to position her in a sitting position onto the commode seat all by myself. This allows her to have the ability to use a proper toilet instead of using a bedpan or going in her diaper which is way more work both for her and I.
This transfer sling is well made and can be easily laundered. It is strong and I can trust that it will support my mother who weights about 120 lbs with no issues. It is small and more maneuverable than the regular sling that came with the Hoyer Lift. My mother says that she feels quite safe in it and that it was comfortable as well.
I would recommend that you get 2 of these if you can afford it as you will have a backup should one get soiled and you have to wash it and let it dry. There are few things that you absolutely should have when you have an elderly or disabled family member and this sling is definitely one of them.

This is a very nice sling. You can see and feel the quality. I ordered it for someone who is 5’ 10” and weighs about 200lbs and it works nicely with our lift. It is not padded as well as some of the others we have had in the past which is rather disappointing. This sling is made primarily for commode use and the wide opening is wonderful, some i have used in the past wasn’t open like this one. This sling is made so you don’t have to worry about a mess getting on it. I ordered the XL but should have ordered the Large instead. It is still working for us though. I imagine going a little too big is better than too small. It is machine washable and washed up great. I am very happy with it.

We are first time users of any sort of lift sling so I don’t have much to compare this against, but overall I think it works very well. The material is sturdy and the colors look good. It is sized pretty well true to size as I would have expected and the only downside is that these are a bit pricey.

I never thought I would need this, but my father entered hospice and lost mobility. He is in a lot of pain so this has made transfer easier for me, but most important safely and comfortable for him. It is very easy to use. There are a lot of videos on how to use.

Overall, I really like this lift sling from VitalEase. It does a good job as a toileting hoyer-like sling. The open bottom design allows for easy access for bathroom use and for cleanup afterwords. It seems to be reasonably breathable but is also machine washable – just in case. Quite happy with it.
