This is an excellent quality sling lift for a larger person.

The main nylon/cordura? material is heavy duty, and doesn’t look to soil easily but would be machine washable. The patient side is a soft fleece like lining, also appearing to be washable

While designed for a hoyer lift, I intend to use this as a lift assist for my wife in getting in and out of an above ground pool similar to the systems I’ve seen at public pools that have accessibility chairs and lifts. I fully expect this product to be very useful in that project.

Can recommend – it feels sturdy when you get it in your hands.

I use slings to lift my Grandma in and out of bed and into her wheelchair everyday (she’s on the heavier side). Sometimes she complains about how the normal sling digs into her thigs or compresses her legs together. Figured I’d see if thing helps any.
Seeing as how my Grandma is on the heavier side, an X-L was really big. She said it felt relatively more comfortable than the regular slings because it kept her legs apart. If you get the leg flaps flat enough they wont dig into the skin.
The only thing I don’t like about it is that if you are transferring from bed to wheelchair, the legs straps just dangle there, they are kind f awkward to get out of the way. And if you are dealing with a heavier person, putting the sling on while they are sitting proves to be easier on your part. They will feel like they are falling though. In my experience.

This transfer sling is made of a soft canvas-like material. It has a nice dark blue color that helps to camouflage any staining. The hooks or straps are very durable how they are attached to the sling. This particular sling has an opening to allow the patient to use the restroom while in the sling. The upper back portion of the sling has a reinforced plastic inside to help make it more rigid and to keep the neck stabilized. This is very heavy duty quality for a good value and a good price.

This is working great to transfer my sick father in law from his wheelchair to his hospital bed. It fits on the Hoyer lift perfectly and and makes moving him around so much easier. I would absolutely recommend this lifting sling!

I recently sampled the VitalEase Full Body Mesh Lift Sling, and it really impressed me with its durability and functionality.

The mesh material is both strong and breathable, which kept my family member comfortable even during longer transfers. The built-in commode opening is practical, especially when moving the patient from bed to toilet without unnecessary repositioning.

The construction is solid — reinforced stitching at all the stress points and heavy-duty straps gave me a lot of confidence during use. I also appreciated that it was easy to clean; a quick machine wash and air dry was all it needed. It fits well with the standard patient lift we have at home, and the overall versatility (usable for showering, toileting, and transfers) makes it an essential piece of home care equipment.

    ✅ Pros:

    High-quality breathable mesh material
Strong, reinforced stitching and durable straps
    Easy to wash and quick-drying
Fits most standard lifts (electric and manual)
Comfortable for the patient, even during longer use

    ❌ Cons:

Sizes seem to run slightly small (consider sizing up)

This is an excellent quality lift sling. It is exceptionally well constructed. We got it to keep in our emergency farm kit for moving downed animals in crisis. It will be perfect for our larger goats and calves.

  7. pix

This is a good quality fabric sling lift. It is used to help lift a patient up. This is used for disabled and elderly patients with mobility issues.

  8. Reviewer

This was a bit larger than I expected but it still fills it’s purpose just fine. The materials, webbing, and stitching are very sturdy and I have no questions about the safety of it’s use. It has good upper body support and the material while sturdy, also feels fine against the skin. For an unfortunate circumstance it’s nice to have products that make our lives easier without some of the exorbitant prices for anything related to “health care.”

Side note the package came completely crushed inside a perfectly fine Amazon box so it definitely wasn’t on Amazon. Thankfully it’s not really a crushable item but it did have a nasty crease in the piece that reinforces the head and shoulders which I was able to flatten out with a hair dryer. The factory really shouldn’t be folding it there for shipping but it was fixed easy enough.

Very sturdy, well-made, reasonably comfortable sling. Has soft edges and padding for patient comfort. Washable. Nicely designed.

  10. Amy N.

Very easy to use this. It had great neck and upper body support and the variety of handles depending on how many people you have lifting. It ran a little on the small side so I would size up if you’re on the fence. Fabric was a good thickness and durable. Pretty easy to wash as well so very happy with this.

I received the VitalEase U-Shaped Lift Sling with Head Support for a family member who needs assistance moving between the bed, wheelchair, and shower chair. The sling is sturdy, with reinforced straps and solid polyester material that feels durable yet comfortable. The head support is especially helpful, providing stability and peace of mind during transfers, and the design makes it easy to position without a lot of fuss.

One thing I appreciate is how the sling is compatible with different types of patient lifts, including both 2-point and 4-point spreader bars. This flexibility meant I didn’t have to worry about matching it to our existing equipment. I’ve used it to move my family member from the bed to a shower chair, and the process was smooth and safe-no awkward shifting or discomfort, which made my job much easier.

Compared to some competitor slings that offer mesh fabric for faster drying after bathing, this one uses solid polyester, which might take a bit longer to air dry. That said, I prefer the extra padding and comfort it provides, especially for someone with sensitive skin. For anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable transfer sling, this one does the job well.

This sling is made of a very durable material and should lift most average-sized children and adults without any issues. The straps are sturdy and easy to grab when the sling is placed under a person. It makes moving somebody a breeze without causing too much strain on the individual doing the lifting.

  13. Exactly as described. Quality construction. 5 stars

  14. Rome

Great all around patient lift sling that’s affordable & great when insurance hasn’t sent other one but it’s good to have multiple as you can wash them highly recommend it feels really good quality and easy to use though it comes with instructions I would use caution if you haven’t used one but this will work with both portable (like Hoyer) & tracked ceiling lifts

  15. Customer Review

This is well made, with strong mesh, material, and construction. It’s very sturdy with good support. It’s a simple yet effective design, making moving someone much, much easier. Overall a quality sling.

  16. Timy Love

Very good quality and works great

  17. RachieG

Easy transfer sling for caretakers to use. Straps are conveniently located to maximize the support

My mom is slowing down at an alarming rate. She was very mobile, but now is moving less & developing less strength & it’s kind of scary, so we are starting to prep for needing more assistance with moving her off the couch, the bed, etc. This was a great option to try. One that offers full ‘seated’ body and head support for the safest mode of transportation vs. a thin, under the bum only, type of sling. This works better & is more user and elder friendly.

It’s well made & it certainly will become very helpful in the following months. She’s heavy to move even with her nurse, but now we have an aid here to assist them with lifting her. The nurse is so grateful. We tried it a couple of times & it really helped keep her supported (tugging on her soft, frail skin is very easy to do in her fragile health state & at her age. This avoids human pressure on her body, too.) That’s an added win!

It makes the patient more comfortable & reduces the risk of injuries. Much caution during use is still advised.. naturally! Great quality— thus far, priced right. An absolute necessity for my loved one— maybe yours as well!

    5 stars ✨!

This is a very nice sling. You can see and feel the quality but of course if it is going to handle a 350lb person it would have to be made well. I can’t attest to that seeing that I need it for someone who is 5’ 10” and weighs about 200lbs and it works nicely with our lift. I ordered the size Large and it works perfectly. If you need a sling for someone who weighs up to 600lbs you will need the XL. The commode opening is wonderful, some we have used in the past didn’t have an opening or just have a hole, this sling is wide open so you don’t have to worry about a mess on the sling. It is machine washable and washed up nicely. I am very happy with this sling.

Obviously this sling is for those who have a tracking system or lift. We do have a tracking system for my daughter and I have to say this is one of the better slings. I love that it goes high up on her back and also is very secure for her legs. Others we have do not have those features so this is going to be our go to. Durable material. Definitely recommend

  21. Paul V

I’ve been trying different types of sling lifts and this one compares well to the others. I like the u-shaped design and it is definitely made of quality materials. I like the colors as well. Size is about as expected. Only downside is these are a bit pricey.

  22. Kathryn R.

We used this sling with an electric lift, so that’s the only method we’ve used with this sling.
The stitching and quality of the fabric is really quite good! It is well made and I have no complaints about quality. It was thick enough to hold and support a human quite well.
The design is nice, in that the spot in the middle is more convenient for bathrooming and hygiene needs.
The sling wasn’t difficult to clean in the couple of instances we have needed to do so.

  23. Benjamin Blankenship

Feel very comfortable using this sling to transport my elderly father. It supports ample weight, far more than we need. It is comfortable and adjustable. Intuitive to understand and easy to use. We’re very happy with this so far.

  24. Roshi Marie

This sling is a good size and is designed well. The material is easy to clean but not very comfortable. It’s a little short for my use, doesn’t provide enough coverage to feel safe in it. Quality is ok not great.

  25. Mrs.Zee

I gave this product 4 stars only because the overall body support was not giving enough for me and I felt very nervous when using it as it pertained to lifting and moving in the hover lift. The material was light in weight that was a plus and the stitchings on the straps and around the edges were secure. I liked the fact that it gave to you two ways to secure the legs. The back has a plastic support that is removable. I removed it because for me it was not helpful and gave very little support, without it the individual using it felt a little more comfortable in it. Overall I feel it is a good product and maybe some one else reviewing it might feel completely satisfied with it. I would it because it is well made and sturdy with the stitching and it does accomplish the task for what it was intended to do. Also it is very minimal time spent in it. Would recommend.

  26. MedicMaria

Really thick and stiff, but there is no worry about it ripping and my patient stated comfort with it.
